Basil and Angus Cameron (from Nomad Art Productions) have just run a great workshop in Nauiyu, S-W of Darwin, with 10 experienced artists from Merrepen Arts. These guys have been making etchings for over 20 years, so it was a pleasure to get out there again and work with them on new images of plants and animals from the region. Basil hadn’t been there for 6 or 7 years, although Mats Unden and Nena Zanos had run a workshop for BHE since then. It is exactly 10 years since Nomad’s highly successful Replant project with many of the same artists.
