BHE is getting a new silkscreen printing table

April 18, 2017 Basil Hall

After 15 years of loyal service at Basil Hall Editions (yes, it’s our 15th  birthday this year!) the silkscreen table is being down-sized slightly. The table has done literally hundreds of editions, including Harry Tjutjuna’s one (shown in an earlier post) and Neil Emmerson’s Fremantle Prize-winning prints in 2006. We are purchasing a new vacuum table for the Canberra studio. The current 60 x 40 table is in good working order and can be taken apart for shipping. $1250 is the price. The replacement is costing over 4 times this price, so this is a good deal if you have the space for a big printing table. The 60 x 40 refers to inches and is the area covered by the vacuum, which has a new motor too. Email: info@basilhalleditions.com.au if you are interested.IMG_0284

ABOUT BHE

For the last nineteen years Basil has run Basil Hall Editions, first from a purpose-built studio in Darwin, then from two studios: one in Braidwood, NSW and one in Canberra. In 2020 Basil moved all the equipment to Canberra. He and his team host visiting artists or travel to remote Aboriginal  communities, collaborating with over 100 artists a year, or other regional locations, offering workshops.
