Judy Watson, who recently commenced a new series of etchings with us, then took all her plates to the University of Virginia in October as part of her residency there. The students assisted her to print up proofs of the latest plates (a group of her assistants are seen here with Judy and their Lecturer) which are now winging their way back to Brisbane, where the much-travelled zinc will be further etched and aquatinted by Judy and Basil in early November.
