Rare Collectible Editions exhibition now on our website!

December 2, 2021 Basil Hall

Our upcoming exhibition at Nancy Sever Gallery in Canberra opens all afternoon on December 12, 2021.

All the prints are now up on our website www.basilhalleditions.com.au. Press the EXHIBITIONS button at the top of the page and allow 117 beautiful images to open up. It seems quick on my phone, but may take a minute or two on your computer. You can then click on images to get a better look. CONTACT NANCY SEVER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RESERVE A PRINT BEFORE THE OPENING. Remember, there is usually only one copy of each, as they are all from the three printers’ private collections.

I hope to see you at the opening. An Australian Alphabet by the Southern Highlands Printmakers is also on in Nancy’s new downstairs space in the same building. 26 artists, 26 letters, 26 prints in various media!

The image featured is Fiona Hall, Wattle and Mantid, etching and chine collé 2006. A beautiful print from the Replant Project. $1100 unframed.

ABOUT BHE

For the last nineteen years Basil has run Basil Hall Editions, first from a purpose-built studio in Darwin, then from two studios: one in Braidwood, NSW and one in Canberra. In 2020 Basil moved all the equipment to Canberra. He and his team host visiting artists or travel to remote Aboriginal  communities, collaborating with over 100 artists a year, or other regional locations, offering workshops.
