Today’s scene at Ngaruwanajirri, Bathurst Island

What a backdrop! Under the Art Centre’s inspiring ceiling panels, our artists worked away on new etchings. So far, 17 new editions are well underway, with more to come in the following days. This project has been made possible by a grant from Arts NT, and will enable Ngaruwanajirri to create, print and publish a whole range of work in a new medium. Watch out for these beautiful prints online, in galleries and at DAAF (Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair) this year.
