This year’s workshop with Djilpin Arts at Beswick, saw the purchase of a new small press and a workshop which involved collecting local bush foods and medicinal plants for impressing into soft ground. Here, a plate has been rolled up with BIG ground and Angelica is arranging a group of leaves which can be used as soap (they suds up when wetted and rubbed between the hands). We also made plates using various other plants and artists then added drawn information using etching needles. The new Equinox press worked well and editions will be available early in the new year through Djilpin Arts, I think.
And after Darwin, on to Beswick for a workshop
