Jeffrey Samuels co-ordinates St Vincent’s Hospital Part II

July 20, 2016 Basil Hall

Our second invited Artist/Co-ordinator, Jeffrey Samuels, ran the Sydney workshop today. 16 staff members from various parts of the St Vincent’s group of hospitals and clinics bravely took part in what will be a large collaborative silkscreened mural. The finished work will be in an edition of 55 and will therefore be able to be hung in every St Vincent’s Private and Public Hospital, its clinics and other operations run by the group founded by the Sisters of Charity, who have been serving the poor and disadvantaged in Australia since 1838. Jeffrey began the session with a talk, a dance and a drawing exercise and within a short time everyone was painting confidently!Jeffrey
