Derek prepares etching paper for another Derby edition

Derek, also known as Dean, Smith, one of Mowanjum’s trainee printers, blotting paper for one of the many editions we did during Basil’s recent trip to Derby. Mowanjum has a great stock of woodcuts, linocuts and silkscreen prints for sale, and soon will add some etchings to the collection. The art centre is situated at the Derby end of the famous Gibb River Rd, and is in a spectacular Wandjina-shaped building with excellent facilities for weary tourists after a long drive!
