Basil Hall Editions at Sturt Summer School, Mittagong

The participants at this year’s Sturt Summer School Printmaking workshops with Basil have taken numerous pictures of the busy week eleven of us spent in Frencham School’s art department in early January. Here’s a first shot of the action as a soft ground plate is about to go through the press. In the five days we were able to make well over a hundred prints, comprising hard and soft ground etchings, dry points, aquatints, sugar lift etchings and two plate colour work.
