Monica Watson works on a new silkscreen

Ninuku Artist, Monica Watson, is seen here painting one of the coloured acetates for her new silkscreen. She spent a week collaborating with Pam Boyer on a stunning 9 colour print, which Basil Hall Editions hopes to be editioning later in the year. Monica was very enthusiastic about the new technique and made sure Pam heard all about the story she was painting. Collaboration in this medium of ours: printmaking, is a very rewarding experience for both parties. Monica taught Pam so much about her story and her painting technique, while Pam was able to assist Monica with selecting and separating her colours, by consulting a similar canvas Monica is currently also working on. Regular cups of tea kept them sustained during the week!
