Through the Beswick floodwaters

Two days before, this road was under metres of water. By the time we came out to Beswick to run the third day of our recent workshop, residents were fishing peacefully here as though nothing had happened. Artists worked on the extended deck of the art centre, painting silkscreen acetates and scratching etching plates as official white Toyotas once again began to enter the community to go about their business after the floods.
