The new Director of the UVA’s Kluge Ruhe Collection, Nici Cumpston, visited Basil Hall Editions a few weeks ago. She was accompanied by long-time staff member/Senior Collections Manager/Registrar, Nicole Wade. They first attended Tarnanthi, which Nici has curated for 10 years in Adelaide, before spending a few days in Canberra. We are so glad they had time to visit the studio, as many of their Kluge Ruhe colleagues have been here over the last two years since we first flagged our gift of the BHE studio archive to their wonderful collection.
I didn’t take a photo while they were here (!), so here is a shot of the current Kluge Ruhe building (more news on that score in the coming months).
