The proud proprietor surveys the scene during our first workshop in Braidwood. The studio proved to be a great place to work when three artists travelled from Greece (via Bungendore), Mollymook and Griffith to attend a weekend try out of the facilities. We managed to pack plenty in to the time, using the aquatint facilities and working in hard and soft ground, sugar lift and two plate colour. The highlight was undoubtedly the lunches and morning teas provided by Charlotte Kimberlee, so many thanks to her for the catering.
The studio is available for workshops any weekend by arrangement. Basil can currently run programs in etching, woodblock, lino, monoprint and collagraphs. We just need 4-5 people and Charlotte’s cakes!
