A group of the participants at our recent workshop in Canberra in January enjoying a print straight off the Heidelberg press, lent to us by the Artists’ Society of Canberra. We used plastic plates for mono prints, drypoints and as colour plates, while zinc plates were distributed for the other etching processes. An aquatint spray booth and clean up area were installed outside the building, so we had everything at our disposal. We even had an excursion to Megalo Studio on one of the days, enabling the participants to view and use the well equipped access studio and see how aquatints are done in a traditional rosin box
