Zena Cumpston, writer, activist and artist arrived hard on the heels of Karen Mills’ residency and spent a week with us exploring some new imagery. Pictured here, she is examining a collagraph she has made. This is the first proof, so there’s more to come. Zena was one of the curators selected to attend the Kluge Ruhe Collection seminars at the University of Virginia last year. The seminars co-incided with the Basil Hall Editions gift of 1350 prints from our archive to the university, so we were all there for the exhibition and talks.
