At the beginning of November, I ran a collagraph workshop at Megalo, the Canberra Printmaking access studios. A couple of old faces from my Studio One days in the late 80s and one from my time in Darwin made this quite a reunion, as much of the etching and lithography equipment at Megalo came over when Studio One closed in 2000. The group of eight artists made a number of excellent collagraph plates and got them dried, shellacked and printed in the two day workshop. The picture only shows part of the group. The studio is well laid out and equipped, and everything was organised for us in advance, so it was a pleasure to work at Megalo and the group seemed very happy with the outcome.
