Karen Mills and Fiona MacDonald residency #2 May 11, 2019 Basil Hall Pin It Darwin artist, Karen Mills and NSW artist Fiona MacDonald have just completed their residency at BHE. I opted to edition as they worked, so each artist could respond to each proof and make her next colour layer. We managed 5 editions, each with 4-8 colours, so I was kept busy reclaiming screens and re-coating each evening for the next day’s work. Here we are, with some random family members, having a wine and cheese “opening” of their new screen prints in my ACT studio.
