New prints for Ikuntji Arts

February 6, 2019 Basil Hall

I have just finished two new editions for Ikuntji Artists in Haast’s Bluff NT; this one for Mitjili Napurrula (for those of you not familiar with her distinctive motifs). This one measures 80 x 60 and is pretty striking. It will be available through the Ikuntji Artists Art Centre, along with a number of other new prints we finished late last year. Edition of only 20.

ABOUT BHE

For the last nineteen years Basil has run Basil Hall Editions, first from a purpose-built studio in Darwin, then from two studios: one in Braidwood, NSW and one in Canberra. In 2020 Basil moved all the equipment to Canberra. He and his team host visiting artists or travel to remote Aboriginal  communities, collaborating with over 100 artists a year, or other regional locations, offering workshops.
