Lisa with an early proof of one of her recent etchings, made during our latest workshop at the Braidwood etching studio in mid-March. Four participants (that’s all we need to run these workshops, so email me with some dates!) from the Makers Studio group on the Central Coast of NSW came down for a road trip and a three day copper etching experience. All made multi plate colour works, incorporating soft ground, hard ground, sugar lift and aquatint. They stayed at Braidwood Arts on the slopes of Mt Gillamatong, overlooking the town (only $150 a night for the two bedroom + study house) and ate at Paydirt on Wallace Street. (There is no advertising on our blog!)
Braidwood workshops are popular!
