Yirrkala’s Buku Print Space is busy as usual

A quiet moment after hours on Friday gave Basil a chance to photograph the busy Print Space at Buku Larnggay Mulka this week. He is working with the Yolngu printers primarily to train and to generate some new silkscreen prints and etchings. In the foreground, the screen table is loaded up with stencils for two backgrounds (for sisters Marrnyula and Rerrkiwanga Munungurr). The etching press was in use most of the day too as visitors poured through the art centre.
