Melbourne’s Firestation Printmaking studio invited Basil back again this year to do another workshop last weekend. Here is the group of 2016, standing behind some of their 30 assembled colour prints at the conclusion of the two days. The artists brought existing etchings and relief blocks to try out our pigment colouring method, and also carved new blocks and printed them; a busy weekend, with lots of hairdryer work to get the ink and glue less tacky. Victoria has been pretty damp this last fortnight.
