Philip “Pussycat” Gudthaykudthay may need a walking stick these days, but he can still paint beautifully. He started making prints when Theo Tremblay worked at Ramingining in the early 1990s and has since made many more with Theo, with Northern Editions and with Red Hand, the latter two from Darwin. Now it’s our turn and we will make silkscreens and etchings from the acetates Philip has painted. He found that his rrarrk brush worked particularly well on the acetate sheets we use for making silkscreen prints. Watch out for his and other prints in the coming months, available through Bula Bula Arts.
