Pamela See practises the ancient Chinese art of paper cutting and has recently contacted us about translating the art into limited edition silkscreen prints. Her paper cuts make a perfect stencil in themselves, but may also be exposed onto a screen coated with direct emulsion, creating a robust screen stencil without harming the cut works. Here, Pamela arranges a number of her images on the glass top of the exposure table at BHE for a test run, which we did today. Pamela worked on an etching or two with us 8 years ago in Darwin, so it was good to see what she has been working on in the intervening years.
