Another Townsville shot during the BHE workshop

A better shot of the Umbrella Print Studio space in Townsville, with part of Basil’s group at his workshop last weekend. A tutorial on the second day gives everyone a chance to see what the others have done, ask questions about techniques and help resolve the images. You can’t do a full Diploma etching course in two days, but we gave it a nudge. We managed hard and soft ground, drypoint, aquatint (with the best spray can nozzle ever!), colour plates, sugar lift and faux mezzotint.
