Back to Armidale

The New England Regional Art Museum has once again invited Basil back to do another workshop in the studio below the gallery. 12 New Englanders attended and we did etching this time, offering a mix of hard ground, soft ground, aquatint, sugar lift, chine colle, colour etching on two plates….you name it. We did have two whole days! 8 of the attendees have been to our workshops in Skopelos, Greece, while several had also driven down to Braidwood this year to do a workshop with Basil there, so there were lots of familiar faces and three bemused and brave beginners in our ranks.
