Here are some of the 60-70 beautiful coloured woodblocks done by the weekend participants at Grampians Brushes in Victoria last weekend. We only displayed a small sample (two by each of the artists), but the crowd was very impressed by the results achieved in such a short time. The technique, described in earlier posts, is a good one for those who don’t have a printing press and for those who choose not to work with oil-based inks and solvents for heath reasons. It’s all done by hand and with water-based pigments!
