October 28, 2011 Basil Hall

This week we have released our new Skopelos Printmaking Workshop brochure for two workshops Basil Hall and Steph Bolt will run in June and July next year. We have already sent copies to those who attended this year and also a number of people who expressed an interest in “next time”. Places have started to fill quite fast. Since the deposit is fully refundable up until January 31st, it is well worth your while enrolling NOW if you think you may be able to attend. We will firm up final places after that date, so you do have time to change your mind until then.

The workshops are reasonably priced at $2695 and will be held in our new studio on the island. This price includes accommodation for 14 nights, tuition for 12 days, studio hire, most basic materials (additional plate and paper may be purchased), breakfasts on workshop days and two dinners. We will offer etching, collagraph, monoprint, wood-and lino-cut.

Deduct $750 if you choose your own accommodation elsewhere from any of the numerous cottages, flats, hotels and farms to rent on www.skopelos.net/accommodation.

Email or phone now to book your place. (08) 89417445 or info@basilhalleditions.com.au

ABOUT BHE

For the last nineteen years Basil has run Basil Hall Editions, first from a purpose-built studio in Darwin, then from two studios: one in Braidwood, NSW and one in Canberra. In 2020 Basil moved all the equipment to Canberra. He and his team host visiting artists or travel to remote Aboriginal  communities, collaborating with over 100 artists a year, or other regional locations, offering workshops.
