Here’s what resident artists and workshop participants will have to put up with when they use the new studio on Skopelos. The panorama windows on the north side of the studio look straight out over the Aegean to nearby Alonyssos Island. After mid-July, the space will be available for rent by printmakers and other artists looking for a great place to work. We already have two bookings up to late August 2012 and one in May 2013, so things will fill up fast in the peak/summer season each year between May and September. We will be putting together information kits for prospective users and lists of what is available in the studio and where further printmaking materials can be ordered from, since very few specialised art materials are able to be bought on the island.
