Garry Shead – Dionysus at Pokolbin

Garry commenced the etching on the Greek island of Skopelos in 2010 whilst with a group of Australian artists who were invited to work with Basil and Mats for a fortnight. Garry has been painting on the theme of winemaking for some time and was pleased to discover that a small vineyard was situated next door to the Skopelos studio! Mythological Greek creatures soon inhabited the etchings.
