Basil has just been up in Sydney to do another etching workshop with the Warringah Printmakers. This time it was copper plate etching with 12 willing participants, all of whom had had some experience in the past. The group was able to try hard and soft ground, sugar lift and aquatint over the two days and managed an impressive number of plates and proofs. Pictured is one end of the main printmaking room and most of the busy printmakers.
