A little retrospective at Cowra Regional Gallery for three printers

January 29, 2023 Basil Hall

Akki Van Ogtrop, curator at large and current President of the Print Council of Australia, has recently selected around 70 works by Master Printers Ron McBurnie, Michael Kempson and Basil Hall for an exhibition at Cowra Regional Gallery. It opened in December and closes very soon, on February 5. There was a great opening with lots of reminiscing by all three of us and some nice words from Akki and Brian Langer, the Gallery Director. I feel very honoured to be showing with these two wonderful printmaker/printers and loved our two visits to see the show and enjoy the variety of work we have all done with other artists and in our own careers.
