Pam and I visited the Kangaloon studio of master printer, Max Miller last weekend. It was part of the Southern Highlands Art Trail and I was really happy to check out Max’s beautiful work spaces, old presses and gallery, which are being largely maintained by his wife Janie these days. 43 years ago I visited this studio for the first time with a group of fellow students from Moss Vale Technical College. When I saw the studio, I decided that this was what I wanted to do: to make prints with artists, as Max has done for over 50 years.
