I’m really delighted to have Karen back after 4 years to make some more etchings in the Braidwood studio. This time it is twice as good because she has brought her mentor, artist Fiona MacDonald, with her on the road trip, and Fiona is making some new work too. We have so far made and etched 9 new photo plates from delicate tusche drawings on True Grain film and plan to start proofing for both artists in colour tomorrow. I’ll put up a photo or two as we go, but you can also see Karen’s regular insta posts if you’re a friend.
