The Australian Print Triennial, run by Mildura’s Art Vault has just concluded after four jam-packed days of forums, exhibitions, debates and fine food. Many thanks to Kevin, Julie and Vicki who have done an amazing job. Numerous exhibition venues were organised and hung with great art, 52 presenters were flown in to participate in events, debates and lectures and numerous practical workshops took place during the first two days. Olga Sankey won this year’s Triennial Art Award, with Tony Ameneiro and David Frazer splitting the Awagami People’s Choice Award. At left I am about to check out the recently made Baldessin Press Folio of prints, introduced to us by George Baldessin’s widow, Tess, during the first day. Michael Leunig’s print is on top of the pile, which also included work by Jock Clutterbuck and GW Bot.
