Etching on King Island

Sydney artist, Lisa Marshall, came down for Basil’s recent workshops on King Island, and participated in both the woodblock and etching. Lisa stayed in a beach-side cottage and spent plenty of time collecting material on the beach nearby. She ended up drawing and aquatinting one of the huge sponge-like plants she found, and Basil printed it up a la poupee at the end of Day 5.
