The new two plate etching (it will also have a silkscreened colour over the moon) by Mabel Juli from a workshop Pam and Basil ran in Warmun in 2013. Also being editioned soon for an upcoming exhibition at Nomad Art in Darwin are Lena Nyadbi, Gordon Barney, Peggy Patrick and Shirlie Purdie. The pink plate, inked by Pam, has just been through the press and the black plate is positioned ready to print over the pink. Our visitors from the Southern Highlands Printmakers arrived as we were about to run off the last in this batch of 10 last Saturday, so Basil is pausing here mid-printing to discuss the image.
