Antonia Aitken prints for BHE

Printmaker, Antonia Aitken has been assisting Basil with a number of new editions for Beswick, Iwantja Arts in Indulkana, Kaltjiti Arts in Fregon and Mimili Maku. Here Antonia is placing the paper over a new collagraph by Indulkana artist Whiskey Tjukangu. The collagraph block is actually a painted and carved woodblock, inked up intaglio. It has been supported in a specially cut frame surround, which acts as a press runner and assists Antonia with the registration of the print.
