Basil Hall Editions rises in another location

The new Braidwood studio is still under construction, but we can offer a sneak peek of the leadlight windows we found in a nearby second hand furniture place in Bungendore. The main inking bench for BHE’s Hilton press will run under the window at the far left of this photo, while a large drawing table will sit under the closer window, with views into the garden. The building work should be completed in a week or so. The new studio comprises a separate darkroom for the plate exposure unit, an acid fume cupboard and sink and a small ventilated aquatint booth. We will have room to conduct occasional workshops and will hope to provide access opportunities for local and invited artists in addition to Basil’s editioning clients.
